S-LCD on HTC

When a company launches a 'flagship' device, it pretty much means the phone they launched is 'top dog'. So for a phone to be the very best from the company, it's meant to have ...well the very best. From camera to software, sound and even display clarity and brightness.

The Sensation was HTC's flagship, launched to combat the likes of the Galaxy S II and the iPhone 4. So for a flagship device, you would expect a high quality display and you'd hope that the display was the best in the range. The other day I got a HTC Rhyme and decided to compare the screen quality and to my surprise, the screen on the Rhyme looked like it was lightyears ahead of what was used in HTC's flagship.

When the Sensation is placed against the Rhyme, you can see that the display on the Sensation seems a little bit washed out compared to the Rhyme.
